Why Should I Save for My Child’s Education? There’s many ways to look at it, and one way that some of us that are financial advisers look at is that the child needs to have some responsibility, but the parents can also help contribute. And there’s many ways you can look at it, but one way is called a third, a third, a third. So, first thing would be to investigate what your state has to offer, but if there’s tax advantages and the money can be contributed by parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, so, not only can parents contribute, but they can get help from others.
